Glen Tommy joined Telstra in September 2008, most recently he was appointed to the role of
Group Owner for Mining, Energy & Construction within the Telstra Enterprise business unit. In
this role, Glen is responsible for leading the sales team that supports this important industry
vertical, with accountability for delivering the group’s objectives which are aligned with the
overall Telstra growth strategy.
Glen was previously the Sales Principal at Telstra responsible for leading the team that
managed the strategic construction customer portfolio. This included responsibility for
developing and executing Telstra’s construction strategy to better align Telstra’s core assets
and enablers to the outcome-based offerings that were relevant to the key industry issues.
Prior to this, Glen was the Senior Client Partner responsible for leading the integrated services
teams supporting Origin Energy and Downer Group.
Prior to these roles, Glen has had extensive experience in both account management and
technical solutioning roles, successfully managing mining services and construction customers
throughout his Telstra career.
Glen has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Sydney
